Paul Ellis

Paul Ellis is Global Head of Education in the international section of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, where he has worked since 2010. He was previously a teacher and head of modern languages in schools and universities in the UK and France and worked for the IB in their regional office in Geneva, Switzerland.

He is responsible for popular and highly acclaimed open education resources published in the ‘Leading, learning and teaching with Cambridge’ section of the Cambridge International website and has directed 25 conferences for schools, delivered keynotes and facilitated workshops in 50 countries all over the world. He regularly hosts podcasts, writes education features, and has co-authored five bestselling books including Neurodiversity and Education and The What, Why and How of Assessment.

He holds Master’s level degrees in Modern Languages, Education and Business Administration from Cambridge University, Durham University and Edinburgh Business School.
