Guy Claxton
Guy Claxton is a cognitive scientist with a passion for education. His work centers on the learnability of learning, and on the ways in which busy teachers in regular classrooms can support young people’s development as competent, confident, critical and creative learners – both within school and beyond. His latest books, with colleagues, are The Learning Power Approach: Teaching Learners to Teach Themselves, Powering Up Children: The Learning Power Approach to Elementary Teaching and Powering Up Students: The Learning Power Approach to High School Teaching. Guy’s work has influenced children’s learning lives for the better across the world.
